My name is Kyle Jackson from Cambridge Maryland. I attend Saints Peter and Paul High School in Easton Maryland as class of 2022. I am a 6’6 left-handed pitcher with a velocity in the low 80’s as of right now. I am not a player that has ever played travel ball, but has instead played many years of Little League, Jr. League, American Legion, and 1 year of High School. I was recently recruited to play in a summer ball league after my standout junior season in high school. For our school’s spring sports season, I had originally signed up for tennis. Because I had taken a 3 year break from baseball due to my previous school not having a team, I chose to begin spring sports on the tennis team. One day at the beginning of tennis season a practice was cancelled so I decided to go to baseball practice to practice with that team. Once our coach found out that I pitched and he watched my performance, he immediately wanted me to switch to baseball. So, for a while I was playing both tennis as the team’s number two singles player, and baseball as a starting pitcher. I threw a no hitter, 1 hitter, and a 3 hitter against the number 1 team in the conference as well as helping my team get to the conference semi-finals. I am a diverse athlete; I also play basketball and golf.
Currently, I work at the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort as a Golf Attendant, and I have attended two summer baseball camps this year in Maryland. I plan to attend many more throughout this summer to further my interest and skill level and pursue baseball in college.
