2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
- This fall I will be playing on two teams:
- Elite National Academic Team, coached by Rob Grow, Head Coach of Rochester Institute of Technology, and Ryan Horning, Head Coach of Franklin & Marshall College.
- In addition, I will be participating in the Alliance Fall Development Series, playing for Show New England coached by Steve Lomasney, former MLB catcher (including Red Sox, Orioles, Reds, and Twins).
- The program and on field drills are run by various MA college coaches and pro scouts, followed by weekly team games.
- Continuing to work with Gardy O'Flynn, MS, MA, Regional Director Tom House Sports/National Pitching Association ([email protected]/978-500-0148), two days a week to improve my mechanics, velocity and efficiency on the mound.
- Powerlifting with my strength coach twice a week and work under a conjugate training system to build overall strength, especially in the core, back, and legs.
Even though I am taking a very heavy class load, I still drive 50 minutes to and from pitching practice and 30 minutes to and from all of my other practices and workouts, while maintaining an adjusted GPA pf 4.0+.

- Show New England Baseball is one of the premier College Development Baseball Programs in the Northeast. Since Show New England’s inception, nine former players have been selected in the MLB draft, while 100+ players have committed to college programs.

- Kike Calero who played for the Houston Astros and coached for several colleges including the University of Missouri St. Louis. Participated mainly in Perfect Game tournaments on the East Coast and most recently a team camp at the University of Maine.
