Jake Harris '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jake Harris and i’m a junior at Holt high school. i currently have a 2.1 gpa and it is increasing as the next 2 years. i haven’t been the strongest in school the past  couple of years but i’m taking school way more serious. i have been diagnosed with ADD and ADHD, now i am taking medication to help me focus with school and other things in life. 

i have been playing baseball for close to 8 years now and it is the most amazing thing i’ve ever done in my life. i’m a very dedicated person that is willing to do whatever it takes to show that i want to be a good student athlete. This game has taught me so many things about life and how to be a better person. me personally i feel like the difference between me and another athlete is that i have overcome a big fact of me being a student athlete. i struggled in school and it hurt my on the field with playing time and in class. i realized that to get better on the field i first have to get better in class. my goal for my future is to get a good education and use that to get a job that i can support myself and others without the worry of ever struggling. thank you for taking the time out of your day to read and look at me.
