Andrew Uglum '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a young kid I have wanted to play baseball in college. I love the game and most of my best friends are from my teams that I play on. Over the last few years, I have been working extremely hard to become the most athletic and skilled baseball player that I can be. Speed has always been a gift for me, as I've always been the fastest player on any team that I have been on. I am great on the base pads and steal a lot of bases, have the tendency to stretch singles into doubles, and have stolen home twice this year.  Also, I was able to get 2 home runs on our Senior Legion team, one was over the right field fence and the other an infield home run to deep center field.

My glove is also another thing that I take pride in. I make very few errors, get to balls in the infield that most infielders would not be able to reach, and can track balls extremely well. 

Finally, school is very important to me as well and I am sitting at around a 3.55 GPA hoping to improve up to at least a 3.7 by the end of my senior year. At this time, I am considering Physical Therapy as a major or something in the health field where I can work with athletes.
