Milan Bobda '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Milan Bobda a C/O 2025 Defensive Lineman/Edge on the Minnetonka Varsity Football team in Minnesota. I Had two sacks in are two playoff games last year in 2023, and I was also selected to the All-section teams by Prepredzone in Minnesota. The skilled player I have become is the result of my life experiences and the desire to be great.

I grew up in a family with a great passion for Green Bay Packers and since the age of four, I was already in love with the game, watching all-time skillful players in the NFL as a kid like Clay Matthews, JJ Watt, Julius Peppers, and others. For example, one of my favorite memorable moments was me meeting Larry Fitzgerald at the gym here in Minnetonka and while taking picture with him, I was thinking about his display of greatness remembering the exact moment when in the first play of overtime he took a reception all the way down the field to inside the 5 yard line and on the following play scored a touchdown in overtime in the 2016 playoffs against my childhood team green bay packers.  My Dad was also a former volleyball player and always inspired me to work hard to reach my full potential and as he has always said to me, “the greatness mostly comes from unrequired hard work and not just from talent”. I have played multiple sports throughout the years, but I have a really developed a passion for football. I believe to be a unique player in the right college football program and will be without a doubt a key player in the winning cultures.

From the age of 5 years old in my backyard I developed a love for the game, today in High school with a growing intensity on both the required and the unrequired work,  I have developed strong understanding for the game, because I’ve studied it for so long, and the feedback I have from many of my coaches through the years is that they have noticed in me a mental toughness, high sport IQ in general, a team leader with a huge impact on the winning. I am very coachable, have a keen sense to read plays, anticipate the behavior of the opponents, and I strive to be the hardest worker in any sport in which I am involved.

I have studied Chinese throughout my education and fluent communicator in both English and Chinese. I am interested in pursuing computer science and business majors in college. I understand that sports and education can both help me to reach my full potential.

I want to attend a college where I can work hard and make the institution proud of my work ethic both in the classroom and on the Field. I am open to any options and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition if possible. I hope to become a distinguished role model to all my peers in my community and make my parents proud while playing the sport I am so passionate about.
