2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
A former coach told me, "You've clearly got God-given talent for this game...but you're not big enough to compete." Despite this discouragement and underestimation, I have always worked hard to demonstrate my value through my offensive and defensive skills, situational awareness, and desire to continuously improve. And it's always very satisfying when a coach tells me I proved him wrong!
I've been blessed to have parents that have always supported and encouraged me, and a hitting coach and mentor who has shaped my strong mental approach to the game.
