Jesús Orozco '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jesús Orozco. I am currently in my freshman year of high school. I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I was barely making the all-star teams in little league and never getting much attention from my coaches, but as I started to get older, I realized how much more time I needed to put into not only practicing physically but also practicing mentally. Starting high school, I was fortunate enough to be able to start practicing a lot, at an excellent facility, with good equipment and everything I would need to continue forming my skill set. During my freshman year, my high school coaches have started to notice how eager I am to get better at the game and to compete at another level. I am mentally driven and I love to challenge myself. I excel academically and I am a dual language speaker, working to achieve my bilingual seal in Spanish. Playing baseball in college would be a very exciting experience. I’m looking for a collage that offers both a top-notch education and an excellent baseball program. My goal for collage is to find something that will push me into bettering myself, my academic skills and baseball skills.
