My career goals in life are to go to college for baseball and business. I love baseball, I love the feeling of being a leader behind the plate and the feeling of a bother-hood love. The ups and downs and the tough games. I gain more information about my self in the games where loosing than games were winning. I figure out what I did wrong during the games and the next day I get in the cage and either work on offense or defense. I have been referred to as a "gritty" catcher. People refer to me as an outstanding two-way catcher-hitter. This 2021 season I have averaged 2 throw outs per weekend. I have thrown out some of the biggest names in baseball. I gunned out "Noah Sheffield" who was a select fest kid and many more top athletes. My velocity from the crouch is 78 mph. My top exit velocity is 95 and my max with a wood is 90 mph. I have been invited to the "International Power Showcase". It is a national home run derby where roughly 35 kids, nationally, per age group get invited. Bryce Harper was invited several years ago and won it. It is usually in an MLB stadium, this year it's in the Miami Marlins Stadium. Last year was the Texas Rangers stadium. The year before that was the Arizona Diamondbacks stadium. This upcoming November will be the 3rd time I have been invited. There I hit my farthest ball which was 100 mph and was 403 feet as a 14 year old. When I was in 12u, my team was fortunate enough to participate in the "Cooperstown, New York Little League world series". I was nominated from my team to participate in the home run derby there. I came 3rd out of 104 kids nation wide. It was an amazing opportunity and one I wont forget. I loved being able to hit bombs on the main field with everybody watching in the stands. For my professional career I would like to be get drafted to the MLB. I would also like to pursue business. I enjoy the aspect of investing in the business and the stock market., Last year, in 8th grade, our school did this activity with stocks. We did this game where we were giving $100,000 of fake currency, and we had to invest as much as we wanted into as many stock companies as we wanted to. Whoever's stock currency was the most profitable at the end of the event won a $20 gift card to Amazon. I thought that Activity was really interesting and that made me enjoy the stock market. Obviously I know it's way more complicated and with real money, but it was still a good learning experience and one that I found interesting and fun. In the future I would like to own my own successful business.
