Ryan Aufderhar '25 Recruiting Profile

Playing college baseball in my primary focus. I work effortlessly every day to become a better student, baseball player, teammate and person. As a younger kid, I struggled with my athletic abilities because I always wanted to be better than everyone else and better than my own abilities. As a grew and got older, I realized that being your own worst enemy was never going to make you a better athlete. Outside of school, I work hard at my craft and understand that making mistakes is part of life and is not a bad thing if you learn from them and focus on what it takes to improve yourself mentally and physically. My dad told me when I was younger, “don’t make excuses, make improvements”. It took a few years to really understand the meaning but now I live my life by his wise words. I will continue to improve myself every day as I grow older to be a better student, teammate and athlete. I will make a great asset to any college baseball program and extremely excited to my future, no matter where life takes me.
