2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
My name is Caleb Elias and I’m working now to be able to play baseball in college. As a sophomore I started on my high school varsity team as a lead off batter, playing 3rd base, 2nd base, and outfield. As a junior through 7 games, I'm currently batting .708 with 5 doubles and 3 triples, leading the 2A conference in hitting, and no errors at the shortstop position. I play showcase baseball for the Dirtbags Platinum out of VA where I play shortstop, but also have played 3rd base for the team from time to time as needed. I currently have a 4.0 GPA in school even with virtual learning during the pandemic. I look forward to continuing to grow my skills this year and in years to come at a reputable college.
