Tare Davis '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Tare' Davis Junior. I am a starting second baseman for the Weldon Chargers. I hit first in the line-up and had an on base percentage of over 65% as a Freshman in Highschool. I have always played baseball as a kid. It is one of the sure things that I am good at; but that's my opinion. I understand that when it comes to be great or even good at a sport other things need to come along with it. Education has always played a big part in my life. I have always been very smart when it comes to school. I have been a member of the AIG program since 5th grade. That is one reason why I go to Roanoke Valley Early College (RVEC). The students of RVEC are hand picked to be the smartest kids in our district. At the school we take college classes with regular college students of the community college. I have never failed a class in my life. Also I know that when it comes to baseball you must have leadership in some way. When I see that a teamate is in a slump, I do my best to pick up the weight or help them out. As a baseball player I strive for challenges. I have always been pushed to work harder when everything is tough. I would do that for anyone who gives me a shot. I hope to speak with you in the near future and thank you for your time.
