I'm a student at Euclid High school. I love being A student athlete. Since my freshman year I have played on the varsity baseball team and soccer team. Whenever I'm on the mound pitching or playing second base I feel like I belong their. I'm always watching the game and never sitting on the bench. If one of my teammates makes a mistake, I like to talk them through it and encourage them on a different approach next time. I enjoy helping my teammates on and off the field to get better each and every day. I also want to help grow the program of baseball for my school. My school is mostly about football and each year the baseball program gets smaller and smaller. Whenever I can, I go to the middle school baseball practices held at the high school, I help the coaches improve basic skills of the players for their next level of high school baseball. I have a great personality for the team. If a player is down from losing a game, I would find a way to cheer them up. A person that is discouraged from the game can lead to a problem in the future. Ever since in 1982 when the Euclid baseball team won states, I've always dreamed of having that victory on my shoulders like they did.
Off the field I'm a great student. I am in all honors classes including college credit classes. I'm also a member of the National Honors Society of 2017. I am an active Boy Scout. I still enjoy camping, earning Eagle palms, hiking, etc. On June 15, 2016 I earned the rank of Eagle Scout the highest rank achievement of the program. Since I am still active I am able to help the younger scouts in my troop achieve the same goal. It has always been my goal to become the best of the best. With all of these qualities and achievements I know I have what it takes to play at the next level of baseball in college.
