Hello, My name is Ryan Dunn. I have always wanted to play college baseball as far back as I can remember. I love the game, being on the field with my teammates, working together as a team. I strive each day to get better than I was the day before. Everyday, I am working on my fielding, hitting, watching videos. I also know there is nothing more valuable than my education. My parents have always instilled in me the importance of having a good education to fall back on. My goal is to earn a scholarship so I can get my college degree and be able to play college baseball. I feel what makes me a good candidate is that I respect the game, my coaches, and my teammates. I put team before myself. I have practiced really hard to learn to play different positions on the field. I feel I can contribute and be more valuable to my team the more positions I can play. I started out mainly pitching and playing corner infield, but as my body changed I became more athletic, I began playing middle infield as well. This past year, I have been playing catcher too, I really like being behind the plate. I feel that this past year I have tried to step up and be a team leader and help out in any way I can to help my team. I just want coaches and teammates to know I will give 100% effort on the field and help out any way I can for the betterment of the team. I will give 100% effort in the classroom as well. I just love baseball and would love to be able to continue playing beyond high school. Thank you!
