Evan Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to play at the next level on a competitive collegiate team.  I started Varsity my Freshman year and have continued to hold my spot. I make a great Shortstop and it is my main position but am agile and can play any position on the field where I am needed.  I am a hard worker, a leader, a great teammate, and my moto is "Always first to the field, Always last to leave." I work hard to help other teammates. I show up early before classes to the field to put in extra work on my own and I stay late after practice in the evenings. I don't believe you should ever take for granted the talents you have and you should always put forth any extra you have to give whether that is helping someone else or working on skills and drills.  My junior year just ended and I was hitting .400. Our team finished the season 25-9. 

I am starting Point Guard for Varsity basketball as well as having completed 4 College Courses as of my Junior year and enrolled in more for my Senior. I also carry AP/Honors classes during the school year all while keeping a 4.0 at the least.
