Liam Bellmard '24 Recruiting Profile

So far the best part about my High School Varsity Career has been that I have started at Catcher in every game since I was a Freshman. The memories and bonds I have created with teammates are irreplaceable. It has helped me to see what a team should be, and has taught me how to be a leader. In our 22-23 season I was awarded best defensive player, voted on by our coaches.  Though our team hasn't had the opportunity to go to a State championship, I have truly enjoyed watching our team progress. We have had changes in coaching staff over the seasons, but our team stayed strong. Our new coaching staff is by far, the best we've ever had, making our team the best it's ever been.

I have attended the Midwest Catching Academy, receiving instruction from former Major League catchers which helped me to hone my skills. I have also been blessed with amazing coaches and teammates on my competitive teams. In my three years of High School and competitive baseball I have come a long way from being the timid little kid I once was.

After High School I want to continue to play baseball and I want to create those memories for as long as I can. I want to be able to go somewhere that will help me continue to be a leader and help me continue to build my character as well. I believe I have the work ethic and determination to keep building on my talents and become a great factor on your team!
