Personal Statement
I am a very goal oriented person. I have many aspirations I want to accomplish in life. I have grown up watching my dad as a head baseball coach and teacher. My mom is also a teacher at my high school. I have had the opportunity to play multiple sports in high school. I have started every varsity baseball game since I was a freshman. I also played varsity football and basketball as a sophomore And Junior. My parents have always stressed academics and athletics. All of my siblings (2 younger brothers and 1 younger sister) are also very academically motivated and athletic. We do many activities as a family including: surfing, biking, hunting, skiing, fishing, working out and traveling when we can. I want to journey into the field of business and economics. My uncle is a partner in an accounting firm and I have spoken with him a lot about pursuing a career path similar to his (He was also a great baseball player in college). Baseball has and will continue to teach me many of the attributes needed in life. I have been blessed to have great coaches, parents and friends around me that support my family, academic and baseball goals. I know how to mage my time. I’m a National Honor Society member. I carry a 4.0 GPA while playing 3 varsity sports of which I have been all league for all three. I also work after practice as a custodian or a technology specialist for my school until 10pm every night. I look forward to college and focusing my time on baseball and school.
