I started playing baseball when I was about 4 years old in my backyard with my family. When I turned 5, I was able to play t-ball with our local little league and I haven’t stopped playing since. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to play for our little league, travel teams, middle school ball, and as a freshman this year I’ve already had the opportunity to travel to a showcase tournament where I played with my high school’s varsity baseball team. I know that I want to continue to play baseball throughout my high school years and through college.
Throughout the years I’ve worked and continue to work very hard to improve my speed, my pitching, hitting, and offense and defense skills. I work to master my pitches, add more mph, and perfect my pickoff move. I am a great role model for my teammates and represent my team with pride. I have great sportsmanship and am very enthusiastic at games and practice.
My commitment doesn’t stop at baseball. I work hard in the classroom too. I routinely achieve honor roll. I’m also committed to my family. I come from a large family and like to root my siblings on during their activities or sporting events. They are also always there to support me at my games. When we aren’t at sporting events, we enjoy some relaxing time at the beach or in Disney.
I am not sure what I want to study in college but I know I definitely want to attend college. I want to find a college that will push me to grow both as a student and on the baseball field. I know playing baseball in college will be an awesome opportunity for me.
