Hello, my name is Sebastian Montemayor. I am a sophomore at Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas. I have played baseball since I was 4 years old. I have had a passion for the game since that early age that continues to grow every day. I have played many positions across the diamond such as 3rd base, 1st base and catcher. I play travel ball with the B-County Colt .45s, a team started by a coach with a drive to win and to help develop young men into talented ball players. With my travel ball team, I have been a part of 2 USSSA World Series Championships. Not only did playing in the World Series help me better understand the game and become a better player, it also helped me build a brotherhood with my teammates.
With 2 years left in high school, I know my opportunities are wide open, but one thing is certain, I want baseball to be a part of my future. My classes in high school are preparing me for a major in Mechanical Engineering while my travel ball team and high school team are preparing me for my future in baseball. Being the youngest in my family has taught me to work hard to earn what I want; the same goes for baseball, if you work hard, you achieve great results.
I look forward to NCSA helping me to take the next step in my future.
