Collin Mills '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Collin Mills and I am a two-year varsity RHP/closer for Seven Lakes High School entering my senior year (2024 grad). I am currently 6’4” and 180 lbs. I throw a four seam FB (84 mph in-game velocity), a knuckle curve (average 69 mph) and a changeup (average 72 mph). My two greatest assets as a pitcher are my ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations and my ability to locate my pitches more consistently than most. As a closer this past season (spring 2023), I had a season ERA of 0.292 and a district ERA of 0.00, and was awarded 1^st Team All-District honors (Texas Division 19-6A).  

I have been a two sport athlete throughout high school, playing baseball and football as a quarterback for Seven Lakes High School. However, baseball has always been my primary sport. I started playing baseball about a month before I turned 3 years old and have excelled at and loved this game all of my life. My goals are to always continue to improve myself and my game, and to attend a college where I can balance playing baseball at a high level with a great campus life/experience and an education that will prepare me as much as possible for my future.
