Going to college has always been a given in my house. Both my parents graduated from Texas Tech. Baseball has always been that thing that I look forward to every season and I hate when it ends. I don't hate going to practice, it makes me better and I learn more and more each time. I've been lucky to have such great coaches on my select teams. Learning the game and the strategy behind it just makes it more fun. I work hard, but my mom says I have a very easy going personality so I don't stress over mistakes too much. I don't like making them, but I don't let them effect me either. Team is everything. One person doesn't win a game. Being able to connect with your coaches and teammates is really important. I hear the word "coachable" a lot. I think I am very coachable. I am dyslexic so I struggle with reading, but on the baseball field everything seems natural. Learning new strategies and techniques gets me so excited. I am now ending my sophomore year and I want nothing more than to play baseball in college, and hopefully build a career in baseball beyond college.
