Dear Coach
My name is Michael Enrique Reyna and I’d like to share with you my personal statement. As I begin planning for my college years, I would like to be a part of a University that supports my personal growth, core values and personal mission in life. My first goal is to be part of university that has a well established and strong pre-med program that will help prepare me academically for medical school. At the end of my college career, I envision completing medical school with a focus on orthopedics. This specialty will help me serve and provide compassionate care for the community. Compassion is a core value that has been part of my family since both my parents are in healthcare. As I begin my college and baseball career, I will strive to be a good leader on and off the field. Most importantly, accountability and integrity are salient to me and my family. I will focus on short-stop and pitching and will dedicate my full commitment to being a great asset and part of the team. Baseball has been part of my family before I was born. The love for the sport has demonstrated and provided me many life-lessons playing the game from my childhood through little league to high school. Last, I would like to be part of a team where I’ll fully commit my heart and mind. At the end of my senior year, I’d like to leave a strong legacy and life-long memories with the coaches that mentored and impacted my life.
