Kevin Bartram '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Kevin Lee Bartram and I am sixteen years-old. My goal is to receive a college education. My passion is to play college baseball. Currently, I am a junior attending Tulia High School, Tx. I am looking for a college to excel in my academics, as well as, my talents in baseball. I am just as interested in colleges in the State of Texas, as much as, any college in the country. My family has a financial need because I have a sibling who is attending college. I will most definitely consider attending any college who shows interest in my baseball skills, as well as, my academics because my dream is to play college baseball at the highest level possible. I have skills that set me apart from other baseball players around the country. I am the hardest working individual you will ever meet. I will do whatever my coach tells me to do. I will do what is best for the team whether it be getting a walk or getting hit by a pitch. If that is what it takes for the team to win, I will sacrifice my body at every game. 
 I have a unique characteristic that I have used to my advantage throughout my baseball career. I am not intimated by any baseball player on the baseball field. It does not matter how big or strong he may be, I will never be intimidated at the plate. My favorite aspect of the game of baseball is hitting. I know this is my strength in the game and I use it to my advantage over others. I have confidence in my swing. I know I can hit a pitcher throwing 90+. In fact, I love fast pitchers. I enjoy giving my best swing against my opponents best pitch. If the outcome is not in my favor, then I have respect for the pitcher who won that battle, but he will not win the next. This baseball mentality is what has made me a three year starter on varsity, as well as, my ability to play all positions except catcher. I am not a player who only knows how to play a single position, if a coach needs me to play another I will be more than happy too. I am a utility player. I will always try my hardest, as I see baseball as a job.
