Brandon Roundy '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brandon Roundy. My love of baseball started the minute I could throw a ball. I am driven, coachable and a quick learner. I can play anywhere on the field and am a competitor. I thrive in high pressure situations and love being in the middle of big plays. I am not the loudest out there, but I lead with hard work and by being a good teammate. I started playing travel ball for the Washington Braves when I was 7 years old. One of my favorite baseball trips ever was going to Cooperstown. I hit 7 home runs that week. I have played on Savage Baseball the last 2 years. My favorite memories are traveling with my team to Idaho Falls in a bus and winning the Golden Arm Competition at the Tournament of Champions in Heber. Our greatest tournament happened this summer in Steamboat Springs, CO. We lost a game and then had to win 7 games in 2 days, with only 9 guys. We battled hard and ended up losing by one in the Championship game. I pitched the tournament of my life that week. When I’m not playing baseball, I’m usually playing basketball or out on the golf course. My dream is to play college baseball somewhere with my twin brother.
