Personal Statement

My name is Elliott Manley, and I am a rising senior this year (2016), at Thomas Dale High School, in Chester, Va.  I am both a great student (3.24 GPA) and athlete.  I plan on possibly working towards an Accounting degree when I do go to college.  And while in college, I plan to continue to play this game I love at your school.  While attending High School, I have played middle infield, and pitched for most of my HS career.  I do and can play other positions when necessary, as I have played all four infield positions since being at Thomas Dale High School.  I have good hands, and solid footwork, and I am steadily working on both weekly at Doug Toombs / The Hit Doctor in Chesterfield, VA.  And, before my High School baseball season gets started, I will be spending at least 4 days per week in the gym to increase my strength and conditioning for the upcoming season(s).  I will continue to prepare myself mentally and physically to be ready to play at the next level by playing and participating in Showcase Tournaments and Camps this summer.
