February 2024Personal Statement
I just love playing the game of baseball with my friends. Being on the field is my sanctuary from the world and that's why I can play pretty much any position the team needs. Baseball is truly a team sport and requires dedication and true teamwork. As I pitch sometimes, I had to learn that everyday isn't going to be a stellar day and when you see someone having an off day you just go and pick them up. My father is prior military, he's instilled discipline in me; no pass no play. He has always told me academics are the most important thing and then baseball! I struggled in school due to an undiagnosed medical issue but now I'm on-track and make the honor roll 3-4 times year.
