Hey coaches, my name is Miguel Vallejo and I am a Middle Infielder and RHP in the class of 2027. When I was a little kid I was never the biggest, or strongest on any field I was on. I was typically one of the worst kids and had little confidence in my baseball abilities. Sometimes in rec ball i would get very little play time, I also tried out for multiple teams. But Over and over again I would try out for these teams and hear the same answer you're not good enough yet. When I finally ended up on a team I struggled to field the ball. I worked very hard to learn how to field the ball and improve that aspect of my game. As of late I started taking the gym seriously which I never really had, and i feel improvement like never before. I had a really good year and became one of the best if not the best on my team. One thing that makes me different from other recruits is even if I do not want to I will always take on a challenge, and when I end up falling I get back up no matter how hard it may be. I may not be the most gifted, or the smartest athlete but every day I will try as hard as I can to keep my grades up and work on the field. I think I can help any team because I will support my teammates in any situation, and listen to whatever a coach tells me no matter what. My goal is to play in the MLB someday, and no matter what division of college I play at I just want to go somewhere that feels like home. Thanks
