Ayden Roush '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the game of baseball for as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until I played varsity baseball that I found out why I truly loved the game of baseball. Being on a team that was counted out before the season began, gave me the opportunity to realize why I was playing the game. After my first varsity year I took the time to refocus myself to become not only the best teammate I could be, but to enjoy what I was doing, and prepare myself for playing at the next level. 

I have been fortunate to be put in a program that cares about the growth of its players. Through this team I learned how important it is to not only invest in yourself, but into the program, and into your teammates. I took the time to decide to “Super Senior” in American legion Baseball, and grow myself as a player before the 2020 season. I am looking for a program that will not only be a fit for me athletically, but help me academically in the rest of my life. I believe I not only have the talent, but the willingness to grow, and the drive to better myself as well as the people around me could help make an immediate impact in your program!
