Sydney Adams '24 Recruiting Profile

As a dual student (High School and College), I have been motivated to continue my academic growth at a university that is a good fit for me.  I will graduate with both a HS diploma and an associate degree Hospitality Management.  I desire to be a Chiropractic, so I am looking for a school that will offer Kinesiology, or something related. as an undergraduate degree.  I am dedicated to academic excellence.

I have always been taught that leadership is necessary in all situations.  Whether that is self-appointed leadership or direct appointed leadership.  As my parents always tell me, leadership characteristics are like any muscle in the body, they exist, but in order to be effective, they need to be trained and conditioned.  As a year 2 Youth Leadership Program member, I am taking advantage of improving my leadership skills.  I have been Capt. of my all-star cheer teams as well as my HS Varsity team.  I expect to continue that develop those skills in my Senior year.

As a member of a Competitive Cheer Team, I have had many opportunities to lead my teammates.  I have stepped up on my own to bring the team together in times of victory and in defeat.  I have taken on the responsibility to lead any chance I get, even if it was on a one-on-one basis with a younger teammate.

I feel like I would be an asset to your team, because I am a hardworking, intelligence, enthusiastic, dedicated athlete.  I am a quick learner and will pick-up the team's cheers and dance routines very quickly.  I am sure you are going to find many athletes who are good.  What you will get in addition to my athletic abilities, is my unwavering character and leadership.  One conversation with me and you will see that everything I said above is 100% true.
