Ortia Richards '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ortia (or-tia) Richards and currently, I am a student who attends Pocono Mountain East High School. At first, when I had just joined cheer I was mainly interested in participating in a sport that could help keep me busy and in shape. Over time I quickly grew a genuine liking for the sport and I am now in my second year of cheerleading. When I graduate my goal is to attend an HBCU and major in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing so I can become a neonatal nurse. However, after consideration, I do believe that I would be interested in continuing my participation in cheerleading for college as well.  Not only am I a very devoted athlete but I am a devoted student as well. I like to maintain a high-grade average just as much as I continuously attend my practices.
