Madelyn Simpson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Madelyn Simpson and I have been in cheerleading and tumbling since I was six. I started school cheer in 7th grade, and was a captain in 8th grade. As a freshman, I was honored to make the varsity cheer team where I have been ever since. Over the past three years, I have been a flyer, a tumbler and can sub as a back spot. I enjoy attempting new and more difficult stunts with my group, which have put us in the elite stunt group during UCA camp. I have also competed with the UCA competition team and I am an active member of the pep rally choreography team, where I contribute to creating exciting and engaging performances for our school.

Being part of a team has taught me the value of collaboration, grit, and leadership. I am eager to continue my cheerleading journey at the collegiate level while pursuing my degree. I believe that being part of a college cheer team will not only allow me to further develop my skills but also provide me with a family like community as I work towards my academic and athletic goals.
