Kat Kalb '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Kat Kalb, a determined, humorous, and natural leader with a rich cheerleading sports background. As an 8-year All Star cheerleading veteran and 3-year Varsity cheerleader, I've won multiple National titles, The One, and a Summit Bid Winner. I've also joined the Varsity Gymnastics team during the off season to keep my skills sharp. Maintaining a strong academic record is important to me, and I've been on the A/B honor roll for 6 years, taking challenging courses that include several AP and Honors classes. Positive people motivate me, and the encouragement of my teammates and coaches has helped me achieve more than I ever thought possible.

Looking towards the future, I aspire to have a successful career helping others. I've had the opportunity to teach underclassmen and teammates stunting techniques, helping them achieve their goals and strengthening our team. My parents have influenced me greatly, with my father's overseas assignments teaching me independence and my mother being a role model for speaking up for others. Cheerleading has become a passion of mine, as it offers a sense of community and teamwork that I've come to love. I'm seeking a college program that will challenge me athletically while allowing me to be a part of a close-knit community that values hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
