Since I was 2 years old and went to my first college football game, I knew that I wanted to cheer for college one day. I started cheering Rec sideline for football and basketball at the age of 5. I was in First grade, and I just loved it. When I was in 3rd grade I tried out and made it on the Club SYC All-stars team. I cheered for SYC all-stars for 7 years. We cheered sideline and we competed. I was a flyer and loved to be tossed in the air. I started my tumbling skills then too. While at SYC all-stars I was in many local parades and the Cherry blossoms Parade in Washington D.C. Our team cheered and performed numerous years for the Washington Wizards halftime show, The Navy football game halftime show, George Mason University basketball game halftime show, The Harlem globe trotters halftime show, and the Citrus Bowls opening act in FL. I also cheered for the Washington Commanders DC Diva's female football team for all their home games. I made All American Cheerleader twice through UCA Varisity and was in the Thanksgiving Day parade in Philadelphia both times. I have many awards and trophies: Most outstanding Jr. All-star of the year, SYC Best All-star Alumni, and All-star Ms. Congeniality. I also volunteered and coached 2 younger age cheer squads for football and basketball and taught them how to cheer, dance, and do a competition routine. It was fun!
When Covid hit I made Capital Gymnastics competition cheer team in Burke, VA and I've been there for 4 years and I have been on level, 3, 4, and 5 teams. My competition teams went to "The One" National Championship in Orlando FL and my team won first place and last year, my teams went to "The Summit" National Championship in Orlando FL. I Main Base, Side Base, Back spot and I use to fly. I also tumble. I've received: Team Strong Award, Step it up award, and Tumbling queen awards.
My freshman year in High School I made Varsity cheer. We cheer sideline football and compete. I received 2nd team district, and all coaches' award. My sophomore year I received 1st team all-district, and 2nd team all regional. I'm now in my junior year and just recently made Varsity All American Cheerleader through NCA Varsity and can go to The Pearl Harbor Day Parade in Hawaii and I made 1st team all-district for high school this year. I love cheering! I volunteer at my gym by coaching two younger teams. I also volunteer and coach younger elementary and middle school students in our school's triangle. I am very involved with my church youth group, and I assist in teaching Sunday school and work at our churches summer camp. I am an Honor's student and have received the Gold presidential medal of honor award in 6th grade. I trained at many college summer camps to improve my skills to cheer at a college level. I truly love cheering and enjoy making others happy cheering for our school! I can't wait to cheer in college!
