Brontë Thurbide '23 Recruiting Profile

As a driven student-athlete, I maintain a 4.0 GPA with a full course load, while excelling in field hockey. I am the captain of my high school field hockey team, and play on the provincial team. Since freshman year, I have been a starter on the Oak Bay High School senior field hockey team. I am a well rounded athlete that can confidently play in every position, but I perform best in midfield and defence. I aspire to play varsity field hockey, and for the Canadian National Team. In my post-secondary education, I plan on studying sciences to prepare me for medical school, and competitively play field hockey. While this may sound ambitious, the Canadian Sport School has prepared me to be a versatile student-athlete with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
