I began field hockey in 5th grade and since then it became my passion. In 7th grade, I had wanted to improve and become more competitive. I joined the Competitive Edge Field Hockey (CEFH) team to help enhance my skills both mentally and physically. Since joining, I have been able to improve my stick skills through playing indoor in the winter, because of the faster paced game and limitation of 3D skills has forced me to work to improve on my stick skills . I strive to be a team leader by encouraging the team to learn from our mistakes and to stay upbeat and positive in the face of adversity. As a freshman, I was excited to make the JV team and start as both forward and defense, showing my versatility and desire to learn. I enjoy practicing with the varsity players that were better than me; it has taught me to persevere, adapt, and compete. For my club team CEFH, I have traveled all over the east coast. I participated in the Sunshine State Tournament, Indoor National Festival, and qualified for the National Indoor Tournament. I strive to try my hardest during every game, every practice, and during school. I want to challenge myself academically and in my athletics. I think that my hard work, dedication, never quit attitude, and coachability will make a great addition to your team.
