Hello! My name is Stella Zimmer and I am a junior goalie at Kingswood Oxford School! I have worked very hard this year with my amazing team and we’ve all truly put in our best effort this season. Over the past three years my love for field hockey has grown and I am interested in continuing my field hockey career beyond high school. I am an honor roll student, apart of many clubs and activities, and I, and another player of my team, was nominated to play in the WNEPSFHA All Stars game on November 12 at Suffield Academy. This year I also received Most Improved player on my team, All-Founders League, and All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention.
I am currently taking 6 classes, 2 of which are honors and 1 AP. Throughout my high school career I have worked extremely hard and have earned honor roll every semester. I am apart of two Medical Clubs on my campus, the secretary of the Student Government, Vice-President of our schools Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, a CitCo Representative, a Shield and Dragon Tour Guide at my school, apart of the Community Service Club, apart of Power of Women, a House Liaison, and apart of my schools all-girls acapella group.
I work extremely hard at everything I do and I always strive to become a better version of myself, whether that be academically and athletically. Along with hard work, I believe that I represent honesty, compassion, determination, and kindness on and off of the field! Everyday and experience you endure is a new chance for a learning opportunity and the use of kindness and consideration for others will never let you down!
