I am a third year, high school (class of 2019) team defender. The second I stepped onto the field my first day of tryouts I knew that I wanted to play collegiate field hockey.
I have strong stick skills, and a high field hockey IQ. I am a good leader, and always try to lead by example. I am very coachable, and incredibly eager to learn and improve. I strive to be the hardest working person on my team, and the hardest working recruit that you’ll find.
I have also competed in taekwondo for the past 11 years. I compete in Olympic-style sparring as a 3rd degree black belt and am a three-time U.S National Team member, receiving the opportunity to travel the world to compete at various international events. My extensive years of training and competing as a world-class taekwondo athlete at an international level has provided me with both the athleticism and the discipline that I know will make me a successful college field hockey player. Despite only playing the sport for a short period of time I know that I have the skill and work ethic to be a valuable addition to a college roster.
I hope to attend a school where I am not only challenged physically but also academically.
