My name is Morgan Hides and I am from Chestermere, Alberta, Canada. I am a 2016 graduate and my primary position in football is Quarterback, but I have also played nearly every other position on the offensive side of the field. My passion is football, whether it’s on the field practicing and playing with my team or watching Professional/Collegiate level with my friends and family. I would love to continue to play football after high school while striving for a post-secondary education. I have been playing football for what will soon be my third year now. Some personal characteristic attributes that have helped me be successful both on and off the field are teamwork, hard work, and taking constructive criticism and tips from coaches and peers and using them to build on improving to be the best athlete I can be. I am excited to become part of a school and a team that will assist me in pushing myself to be at the highest level I can be both athletically and academically.
Morgan is an athlete that is a multi-dimensional talent. He played defense as a sophomore and is an excellent offensive player as a QB or receiver. He will be returning kicks and punts for us this year, as well. I expect Morgan to have an outstanding senior season, leading our team as a quarterback and 2nd year captain. Morgan is quick and agile and able to make defenders miss. He has an outstanding attitude and is a true student of the game. He has great instinct and can improvise if a play does not work out as called. Morgan is passionate, hard-working and competitive. He is one of the most dedicated players I have seen in 37 years of coaching. Morgan will be an asset to any team that recruits him and I believe he has a bright future in football at the next level.Brian Utley, Head Coach Chestermere Cowboys
Morgan Hides is the epitome of what you are looking for in a student-athlete. His work ethic, intelligence, toughness and talent fits the profile of a collegiate athlete. His character and leadership traits make him special. Brett Morgan, CEO 904 Elite
I had the pleasure of coaching Morgan for the past season when he joined our team as QB/RB and had a huge impact on our team. His skill level is very high with speed that has a game changing quality. The biggest asset that Morgan has is that his attitude is geared to being coached at all times. He listens, ask questions and craves feedback without ever taking it personally. This of course made very well-liked by his teammates who saw him as a leader. I had a pleasure coaching him and I can’t wait to see what he does in the next chapter of his football career! Christopher Glass, Offensive Coordinator Airdrie Raiders
Morgan was a joy to coach. He is a natural athlete with great arm talent. His work ethic and drive will take him far in football and make his future as a QB very promising.Andrew Buckley, QB UofC Dinos

Canada Football Academy's Regional Development Camp - Quarterback Training
6/10/16 to 6/11/16
Follows the highly successful model of USA based National Football Academies (NFA) Regional Training Camps. CFA's RDC is delivered by NFA Partner and Senior Coach JC Boice and is very intense instruction within a limited enrollment, small group format. Every Athlete receives individual coaching attention unique to a small group setting with a high coach to player ratio. RDC Sessions are built on NFA's proven development model that accelerates understanding and execution of each player’s primary movements (mechanics) while helping them develop the ability to self-correct, not self-destruct under pressure. Working with NFA Senior Certified staff and learning "Self Correction" principles will give you the competitive advantage you're looking for in preparation for the upcoming season.
These sessions are targeted for Post Graduate, High School and advanced youth football players. Athletes are placed into age and skill level appropriate small groups of 6 or less to work with a NFA Senior Certified Coach and will be engaged after each repetition to demonstrate situational awareness, grasp of assignment, and mastery of technique. Additionally there will be a Senior Certified Coach to provide each athlete a one on one session to work on any skill sets that they need further developed.
