Cruz Peter '27 Recruiting Profile

As a 14 year old going into grade 9 in the fall of 2023, I have played football since grade 3.  This last season as a first year in bantam I was a team captain, I ensure we had a positive team on and off the field.  I led by example.  This last season our team won our league and then went on to win provincials with a score of 54-0, I never left the field until the last 5 mins of play.  I play defense, however over the last few years my coaches also put out as offence to help ensure the win.  After we won provincials I was selected by our league as an All Star Player and got to play in the All Star game.  This is a huge accomplishment as I was only a first year.  More recently our province does Summer Games, I was selected to play on the U16 team as a first year to represent our zone in the Alberta Summer Games.  Our team won bronze.  

Beyond football I strive to be a good human and make a difference.  I was nicknamed the big brother of our school jr. high.  I won an Academic excellence and Social excellence award, plus received a hand written letter from math teacher Mr. Spring commenting on my character.
