Navigating the challenges of starting high school amidst a pandemic, I embraced my roles as a forward in soccer and a kicker/punter in football. These sports honed my precision, focus, and composure under pressure—skills seamlessly translating into effective time management for my academics. Beyond the field, overcoming academic hurdles and discovering my ADHD diagnosis empowered me to adapt, refine study techniques, and enhance organizational skills. I carry with me resilience, adaptability, and perseverance, essential for success both as a student and an athlete in college.
During the initial years of high school, exacerbated by the pandemic and newly diagnosed ADHD, my GPA faced a dip. However, in my 11th grade, a significant upturn in grades showcased my steadfast commitment to improvement. Proactively managing my time, employing effective study strategies, and embracing necessary changes in response to my diagnosis, I strive to sustain this upward academic trajectory into my collegiate pursuits, aiming for continued excellence.
