Personal Statement
- I am a running back from Bakersfield, California. I also kick return on special teams. I am a high school Junior and the starting running back for Centennial High School (Division 1 program). I have traveled a lot and I am open to attending schools across the country. Particularly schools looking for a versatile running back with lots of speed coming out of the backfield. I run a 4.3 electronic timed 40yd dash and won the league championship for the 100 meters this past track season with a time of 10.99sec.
- One of my goals; and probably the most critical, is to maintain a 3.5-4.0 GPA. While I love "The Game" and sports as a whole, I realize that I must put same level of emphasis on my studies in order to be successful. Another one of my goals is to graduate high school and attend a prominent university to further continue my education. Family is very important to me. My family comes first in all things because if not for them I would not be where I am today. I take pride in the relationship I share with my family and I would not change that for anything in the world. As far as my dreams are concerned I believe that through hard work and dedication I will be blessed with the opportunity to attend a university on scholarship either by way of academics or athletics. This would give me the opportunity to accomplish my ultimate dream of playing in the National Football League and being able to care for my family the way they have cared for me my whole life. There is a quote “Dreams are like stars...you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.” This is the basis upon which I live my life and with that said, I know that I am destined for greatness.
- I am very coachable and a solid all around athlete. Growing up, my coaches have commented on my natural athleticism and I have excelled at soccer , basketball , baseball and track in addition to football.
