I do not remember a time when football was not one of the biggest parts of my life. In the seven years since I began playing, I have never been the biggest or the strongest. What I lack in size and strength I make up for by having the biggest heart and strongest work ethic of anyone I know. Not a day goes by that I don’t push myself to become a better player, teammate, and leader both on the field and off. It doesn’t matter whether we are studying film, lifting, running, or practicing plays I am always going to push myself and my teammates to reach new heights in everything we do. I also know that there is more to life than football.
My father taught me when I was very young that the most important part of football was my grades. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the football field. My parents, my coaches, and every teacher I have ever known will tell you that I give 100% in everything I do. No matter what college I attend my goals will be the same. To graduate with honors, be the best football player I can be, and to lead my team to the greatest seasons the college has ever known.
