PERSONAL STATEMENT
Football has been a passion of mine since I was 4 years old. I can remember playing catch with myself; I would throw the ball and run really fast, so I could catch it on the other side of the yard. Therefore, my will to compete is the source of my relentless, and driven attitude. I cannot imagine life without football.
My coaches tell me that my strongest asset is my work ethic. As a 6'4", 215 pounds, wide receiver, most people think that football comes easily to me. Maybe it does, but nothing takes the place of hundreds and hundreds of drills, and a solid schedule in the gym and on the field.
My goal is to play NCAA Division 1 football in the Pac Twelve or Big East divisions, and one day play in the NFL.
However, I do know the importance of having various options as well, so I do plan on obtaining my college degree. I would like to major in either Engineering, Business, or Political Science.
Since, I was 7 years old every summer, I attend an Architect and Engineering camp. I was able to be a Lead Camp Counselor and was assigned my own team of junior high school kids. As a Lead Camp Counselor, I was able to utilize my leadership, and mentoring skills.
Therefore, you can see I am a well-rounded individual and looking forward to what the future has in store.
