In humble beginnings, my goal as a young Pacific Islander is to be able to attain a higher level of education, so that I may be able to provide for my family and fulfill the needs of their desire. As the oldest of 8 children, 4 brothers and 4 sisters, my most prominent goal is to be able to set high standards for my younger brothers and sister who will be able to achieve the same success I am striving for today. Living in a time of financial need I know the chances of paying for college are at a very low percentage, but I also know that with talents God has blessed me with I could be able to attain my desired goal through a scholarship. I'll do whatever it takes to be able to achieve my goal in life even if it takes blood , sweat , and tears. I have always wanted to use playing football as a way to earn a scholarship and going on to achieving my goal in college. My desire for this sport goes beyond the aspirations of my passion for anything else. My favorite part about this sport is watching my teammates build a family bond that can never be broken. In my opinion, working together with people who your are confident around and can call your second family is such a confidence builder especially when playing a sport that so intense and physical. As a player being a good candidate does not pertain to an athlete if you are coachable. when being an athlete, especially in a team playing sport, I believe working together as a team and understanding one another will take a whole lot more effect on working as one rather than showing pride in one individual. As I go on to my second year on the offensive line, I hope that my performance will catch interest of whom ever this may concern and that I may be able to continue this dream at a higher level of football.
