I am a 4 year starting guard at Murrieta Valley High School. I am the fastest lineman on my team and due to my unique physique I am able to jump up extremely fast off of the snap and begin my plays. I began my freshman year as a Right Tackle, then was called up to Varsity to play Left Guard my sophomore season. For my senior year I was primarily Left Guard but was tapped to play Left Tackle mid season. During my offensive lineman position at MV, I made 2 tackles which stopped our opponents from being able to score after interceptions. I have never had the opportunity to play defensive line, but I think that my strength and speed would also make me a very formidable player on the defensive side and I am open to considering other positions.
I am 17 until May of 2023 and I still have the potential to grow bigger, stronger, and faster. I currently stand at 6’3 270lbs. I am a no-belly lineman and pride myself on building my weight through muscle instead of cheeseburgers. I take the game very seriously and am willing to do whatever it takes to gain yards and make sure my brothers on the field are protected. I truly believe that we could have beat any team offensively and I played every down with my head on a swivel until the whistle blew to make sure I did everything in my power to make that happen. I will put that same level of commitment into my next program.
I would love to continue on to play in college and I want to go all the way to the NFL. After a rough time during online schooling, I am back on track to graduate and am hoping someone will give me a chance to impress them. My LEXILE score is 1540 L and my Quantile is 1450Q and I scored a 4 out of 4 on all CAASPP tests including English language arts, mathematics and overall and also scored a 4 on the California State science test(CAST). I am very smart and am planning to take the SAT soon to give the recruiters a chance to see beyond my GPA.
I have high moral standards and have never partaken in any criminal activity nor have I used drugs, alcohol, nicotine, or performance enhancers. I have a strong faith in God and am the oldest of 5 siblings so I take my leadership role seriously. My father is a refugee who didn’t have the opportunity to go to college due to financial necessity and my mother left college when she had me at 19 so I’d be extremely honored to be the first in my family to be able to complete college and hopefully inspire my younger siblings to do the same.
