Being a Tri-sport athlete at a Varsity level since a Sophomore has taught me a lot. Many challenges were thrown in my direction such as stepping into a position that was unexpected. Junior Varsity is nowhere close to the Varsity level. Going from third-string to the first string QB in the span of two weeks was a wake-up call. I had to manage time more efficiently with academics and athletics to be successful in both areas. After this experience, I am confident I will not only take my athletic abilities but also my academics to the next level after High School. I will be prepared to overcome the challenges that come with being a student-athlete in college. Being a Corner, Wide receive, or quarterback doesn't mean you're a leader. It's what you do that makes you a leader. Throughout the years I have been a natural leader in the class and on the field. Entering my Junior and senior year I was switched to corner and the main receiver with no hesitation at all. My ability to adapt to another position comes natural and I continued to shine with the most tackles for defensive backs for both junior and senior year. Being a wide out is where I shined and took my athletic skills to prove I’m the best on the field when given the ball. My collegial goals and aspirations are to take my leadership and skills to the college where I can complete the next level of football and get my Bachelor's Degree Business Management.
