Jared Porter '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations have always been to be accepted by a four year university and to play football at the highest level I can play. I plan on majoring in business marketing to eventually become a stock broker. I have been kicking for roughly two years, so my form and power have yet to reach their full potential. I am currently ranked 11th in the nation for punting in the class of 2016 with Chris Sailer. I have always been easy to work with and a great listener in and out of the classroom. I struggled at first to juggle academics and sports, which gave me a rough start, but I have learned to manage my time efficiently to make sure my academics would not hold me back. I have always been a fast learner on the field and in the weight room, which has improved my performance substantially in the last few years. I look forward to seeing what else I can do to improve myself as an athlete and a student.
