My collegiate goals and aspirations are to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Sociology where I will gain knowledge that will help me to make sense of the way in which society works, but not just my own society but the societies of all humans both past and present. My love for people as made playing sports a dream come true. I'm not just a football player, I've also competed in track and field since the age of 8 years old. I'm an athlete who loves the sport of football, this sport has given me such a driven force to continue to strive for what's best and believe within myself. What makes me a good candidate for any college team is that I know what it is to gain and loose. I was given an opportunity to play at the DII level and in my Spring semester I allowed my GPA to fall below 2.0, this downfall cause me to not be eligible to play in the fall and therefore was very disappointing to me and my family. Nonetheless, there is a lesson learned in every failure and I am determined to rise above this. I am not sure what makes me different from other athletes, I believe for most of us we have some similarities, however, I do know that based on my character I am a hard working , dedicated to be the best and values what my parents have instilled in me such as; teamwork, respect, honesty, humbleness, and love of people. I know that I'm not the only young man who have set goals be successful in life, but like all athletes, I choose to play because I love the sport, I play because I LOVE Football.
