The reason I stand out from other candidates is that I stepped on the football team as a sophomore, not knowing how to kick but was willing to give it a shot because they needed a kicker. Not only did not know how to kick but not one coach truly knew how either. So as the season progressed, I would watch YouTube videos and teach myself after practice when everyone else would go home. The summer going into my Junior year I found a camp as dedicated to kicking as I was. National Kicking Service taught me how to harness my leg so I was prepared for the next season in which we won the State Championship. As I learned how to kick I began to fall in love with it, in love with putting my foot on the ball.
