Thomas McDonald '24 Recruiting Profile

Looking at me, one would not expect me to be a football player. At six feet and two inch and weighing in at 145 pounds, my body type definitely does not scream football. But call me onto the field and it is a different story altogether; averaging between 45 to 55-yard punts, I take my position on the team very seriously. After high school I know I want to compete at the collegiate level. I have been playing football since the second grade and I am currently in the first semester of my junior year at Wilton High School.

I am looking for a school with strong academic diversity and academic services for my learning disability (dysgraphia). I earned a place on the Academic Honor Roll during both my freshman and sophomore years and consider my academic performance to be the product of my hard work and determination to be eligible to play.

I support my teammates on and off the field and I always perform at my highest level whether it is at practice, during a game, in the classroom, or with my personal relationships with friends and family. I am a firm believer in "you get what you put in", which is the reason I strive for the highest results in all aspects of my life. 

I would very much like to prove to you that I am the player you are looking for your team.
