Jakobe Mckinnie '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Jakobe Mckinnie.  I’ve been playing football ever since I was 5 years old and knew that’s what I wanted to do at the next levels .My long term aspiration is to either go pro and play in the NFL or become coach in college or NFL.  Growing up around sports my whole life was so fun for me, loving to compete with others was the best feeling ever. I played other kinds of sports but football stood out for me. I am interested in a school that that challenges me mentally and piques my interests socially. I am also interested in attending a school with a very competitive athletic program. I have a passion for the competitive environment. I am currently competing at a highly competitive high school and performing exceptionally. Football is a sport I have a love for and I hope to one day have an opportunity to compete at a professional level.

I'm a good candidate for your college because I am a leader amongst my peers; I am quick, strong, coachable, a hard-working student, versatile, and able to play multiple positions well.  Being a quick learner, I can bring a lot to a team! I currently play both sides of the ball at RB, LB and Special Teams.

What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is I'm very selfless and put my team before myself so that my team as a whole is successful.
